    PARKS & OUTDOORS

With over 40 parks, two state parks, miles of waterfront, and the Cross Kirkland Corridor trail system, outdoor living isn't a perk in Kirkland — it's a way of life.

    FEATURED PARKS

    SAINT EDWARD STATE PARK

A 328-acre gem featuring old-growth forest, miles of trails, and a stunning shoreline on Lake Washington. The recently renovated Lodge at Saint Edward — a former Catholic seminary — adds a touch of historic grandeur. One of the most peaceful spots in the region.

    BRIDLE TRAILS STATE PARK

Over 28 miles of lush equestrian and hiking trails winding through dense Pacific Northwest forest. Even in the middle of the Eastside, Bridle Trails feels like a world away. Popular with runners, horseback riders, and families.

    PETER KIRK PARK

Kirkland's central park, featuring playgrounds, a skate park, tennis courts, and open green space. It's the community gathering spot and home to seasonal events and festivals.

    JUANITA BEACH PARK

One of the largest freshwater swimming beaches in the region. Sandy shores, a historic bathhouse, volleyball courts, and a long pier make this the summer destination in Kirkland.

    JUANITA BAY PARK

A 110-acre wildlife sanctuary with boardwalks, observation areas, and some of the best birdwatching on the Eastside. A peaceful retreat for nature lovers.
